HowTo Halloween

How it all began... while attending the Art Institute of Dallas, my friend Matt and I met and began working on DIY Halloween decorations for his parents yard. Our first project was two hand-made coffins, and one you could hide in and pop-out to scare the trick-or-treaters!

Since then we've added old fence panels (upcycled from an old worn out fence), a 12ft Grim Reaper with animated arm (made from an old porch swing), headstones with back-lit letters, firey lit-up walk-ways (made from old palettes), hand carved foam pumpkins, wood-like boarded windows (made from insulation board), and stone coloums (made from plywood and joint compound), and much more.

The ideas are never ending and we've loads of fun breaking away from the desk to build something fun and creative for the neighbor hoods to enjoy.
